Newer Construction.

Much of Castle Rock was built recently, including large parts of The Meadows in the northwest and Crystal Valley Ranch on the south side of town. These homes usually have PEX supply lines, plastic drains, and modern fixtures. That means fewer old pipe problems and more work on water heaters, fixture cartridges, pressure reducing valves, and builder installed parts wearing out.

Colder Nights.

The higher elevation means colder winter nights than central Denver, and that shows up in the plumbing.
